Van Cleef & Arpels
Hong Kong artist Leo Wong has created a bespoke series of porcelain artworks for the window showcases of Van Cleef & Arpels Landmark Prince’s Maison and Canton Road boutiques.
Capturing both vitality and fragile ephemerality, Wong’s expressive and delicate Peony’s are in equal part a homage to the intricate and timeless beauty of nature’s flora and an ode to ancient craft; he uses only the finest quality porcelain, colloquially known as ‘white gold’, the origins of which can be traced back to the Yuan dynasty (1279–1368).
Wong’s creations for Van Cleef and Arpels’ are a unique artistic expression of the Maison’s constant pursuit of perfection, grace and beauty, and can be seen only in Hong Kong from July 1st to August 15th, 2024.
