Homo Faber   Craft Biennale in Venice   (2024)

Leo Wong is the sole artist selected to represent Hong Kong SAR in Homo Faber. He featured a stunning floral ceramic art installation to celebrate the vitality of natural world. The event will feature immersive exhibitions showcasing the work of over 400 master artisans from more than 50 countries around the world.

   

Van Cleef & Arpels       Summer Visual Merchandizing Campaign (2024)

Created a bespoke series of porcelain artworks for the window showcases of Van Cleef & Arpels Hong Kong boutiques. Capturing both vitality and fragile ephemerality, Wong’s expressive and delicate Peony’s are in equal part a homage to the intricate and timeless beauty of nature’s flora and an ode to ancient craft.

The Peninsula Hong Kong      A Graceful Bloom of Peonies  (2023)

In homage to one of the most historically prized flowers, The Peninsula Hong Kong presents a blossoming floral art installation at The Verandah foyer on the first floor of the hotel. Inspired by peony’s beauty and its wide varieties, the artisanal display comprises 38 ceramic peony sculptures, each with unique shape, colour and nuance, meticulously handcrafted by Hong Kong ceramic artist Leo Wong. Artfully set on a golden backdrop, the ceramic peonies are complemented by lively hand-painted flora and fauna. More details

French May Arts Festival 2023          Chinoiserie – Enduring Allure of the Far East 

To celebrate the 30th anniversary of French May Arts Festival, Hong Kong ceramicist Leo Wong presents a visual art exhibition “Chinoiserie: The Enduring Allure of the Far East”, exploring the profound influence and intertwinement of oriental art and craftsmanship on European art history and modern design. Time-travel to the 18th century French manor via the immersive art installation in the exhibition, leading the fantasy stories how Chinoiserie influenced European. Discover the oriental aesthetic and craftsmanship of porcelain and how it caused a sensation in Europe.  More details

Raffles Hotel Singapore                                           Where Sea Meets Shore (2023)

Leo participated in a pop-up at the Raffles Singapore artisan fair by Vermillion.  Vermillion hosted a limited-time pop-up “Where Sea Meets Shore”. The pop-up event featured a carefully curated selection of homeware from over 25 award-winning Asian artisans and designer. More details

Cathay Pacific (2023)

Leo's TV interview "The Story of Porcelain Flower" produced by Hong Kong local TV channel TVB was selected and featured on Cathay Pacific's In-flight Entertainment System in 2023. Millions of travellers have access to learn about this original art creation and delicate ceramic art through the programme.

Lane Crawford                                      Chinese New Year Campaign (2022)

Leo debuted his first large collection of ceramic peony in Lane Crawford Hong Kong and China. The campaign was launched to celebrate the Chinese New Year 2022. Lane Crawford is a world leading luxury department store found in 1850 in Hong Kong.

Business of Design Week (BODW+)  2022

Leo's artwork was selected by Hong Kong Design Centre as a gift for 2023 country partner - The Netherlands. The artwork was collected by Netherlands Consulate-General in Hong Kong. Hong Kong BODW+ (Business of Design Week) is Asia's leading online design knowledge platform celebrating design excellence to inspire and engage the local and international design community.
